Alternating between sitting and standing while working on the computer has proven to have health benefits. This applies to home offices too. But in such settings, furnishings should ideally have a casual and relaxed appearance, which is why Vitra has developed the Tyde 2 Home Desk with Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. Like the entire Tyde 2 office desk family, the Home Desk is electrically adjustable in height. However, the technical components remain discreetly concealed, while the base and table top are designed with clear lines and soft curves, making it easy to integrate the desk in a wide variety of living environments

Care instructions

Wood:

To avoid stains and other damage, liquids should be wiped away immediately. A soft, slightly damp cloth – with a mild detergent in the case of stubborn dirt – is sufficient for cleaning solid wood. Wet surfaces should be dried immediately with a cloth. A care set is included for the care and maintenance of solid wood surfaces and should be used at regular intervals
Do not use any harsh cleaning agents or care products containing silicone or abrasives. If possible, avoid rubbing the surface while cleaning it, as this will make matte finishes shiny and charge the varnish with static electricity which will attract more dust. Do not recommend using furniture polish or wax, as they contain unsuitable solvents and/or color additives and leave a coating that is very difficult to remove

Metal:

Powder-coated surfaces should be cleaned with aqueous solutions made from pH-neutral (pH 5-8) detergents or cleaning products and soft, non-abrasive cloths, rags or industrial cotton batting
Always clean metal surfaces gently and without scrubbing so that the surface is not scratched. Never use cleaners containing granular substances, acetic acid or citric acid

Delivery: This level of service includes inside delivery to room of choice and package removal. Shipment can be brought up two flights of stairs in a walk-up; please let us know if you have additional stairs, which may incur additional costs. Please note, customer signature is required and returns will not be accepted once successful delivery has been completed.
Scheduling: Customer will be notified of delivery date options via phone call and email and, once date is confirmed, will be provided with a 4-hour appointment window. The shipping company's contact info will be included in the email, in order to reschedule the appointment if necessary.
