Originally a National Rail office, the building was eventually transformed into a grand Victorian-style hotel. The Winter Garden, renovated by Alex Kravetz Design and featuring a Champagne bar, became the hotel's centerpiece. Fratelli Boffi furnished the space with custom pieces, including dark marble counters, brass-inlaid tables, and upholstered chairs with ebony finishes and gold leaf carvings. The elegant design and craftsmanship harmonize beautifully with the building's architecture, earning the Winter Garden the 2023 "Design Award" for Best Lobby/Public Space in Europe.
