Care instructions

To extend the life of your umbrella as long as possible, Shadowspec recommend purchasing a Protection Cover for your umbrella and covering your umbrella with it whenever it is not in use.
Close and cover your umbrella in adverse conditions, this includes heavy rain, snow, hail and high wind.
Take care when opening or closing your umbrella - always check for obstacles such as; trees, ladders, furniture, people.
Umbrellas should never be left stored or collapsed for long periods while wet, always ensure that the fabric is dry before storing or closing for long periods of time.
Any early signs of mould or mildew must be removed as soon as it’s discovered.
Your umbrella’s Fabric Canopy is removable and washable.
Never clean any part of your umbrella with a corrosive or abrasive product or a high pressure hose.
Never use waterproofing or cleaning sprays on your Fabric Canopy without seeking appropriate advice first.
All moving parts on your umbrella are best maintained with an annual application of dry lubricator, such as a wax based spray.
From time-to-time, inspect your umbrella and ensure all the accessible screws/bolts and other fixings remain tight, if they appear loose, tighten them with the supplied toolkit.

Delivery: This level of service includes inside delivery to room of choice and package removal. Shipment can be brought up two flights of stairs in a walk-up; please let us know if you have additional stairs, which may incur additional costs. This is the recommended service for customers in multi-unit buildings or offices. Please note, customer signature is required and returns will not be accepted once successful delivery has been completed.
Scheduling: Customer will be notified of delivery date options via phone call and email and, once date is confirmed, will be provided with a 4-hour appointment window. The shipping company's contact info will be included in the email, in order to reschedule the appointment if necessary.
What's Included: Inside delivery to specified room, package removal, and customer signature required. This level of service does not include assembly or moving of existing items.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel an order, please notify us within 48 hours. We do not accept cancellations for made-to-order items after 48 hours. If an item has already shipped, customer will incur shipping charges which will be deducted from refund. For more information, please see Cancellation Policy.
