To ensure proper drainage, use expanded clay or gravel at the bottom of the pots and place the Saya pots on pot feet (avoid saucers during winter). Elevating the pots with pot feet prevents them from sitting directly on the ground.
Remember to upgrade the pot when necessary to ensure that root growth doesn’t damage it.
