Lacquered wood:
- Cleaning and care: Do not use abrasive sponges, steel wool pads or polishing products. Only use a delicate detergent smeared on a soft cloth. Always follow the instructions for use provided on the detergent packaging
- Daily cleaning: Clean the furniture with a soft, clean cloth. Dampen the cloth with: a solution of lukewarm water and universal detergent (also containing a low percentage of ammonia); soap flakes (0.25 cl soap flakes per litre of lukewarm water); a detergent (also containing a low percentage of ammonia) or lukewarm water with about 10% vinegar. Finish cleaning with a clean, dry cloth. When cleaning, water should only be used in small quantities. It is recommended to use a damp cloth. Always finish cleaning by completely drying the furniture with a clean, dry cloth
- Thorough cleaning: Remove dust and dirt on a regular basis. Dampen a clean cloth with a solution of water and universal detergent (even containing a small percentage of ammonia). Pour a small quantity of this solution onto the cloth and wipe the furniture until all stains have dissolved. Alternatively, the detergent can be applied directly onto the stains: leave to rest for a few minutes for it to take effect, then wipe off the surface. Always clean with clean water. To avoid streaks or stains, always dry the furniture with a clean cloth to ensure the surface is thoroughly dry
- Removing stains: Not all stains can be removed using the same detergent. If there are particular stains on your furniture, you may need to clean them differently from the recommendations below
