Part pendant, part mesmerizing sculpture, the Life-Size Koi Suspension Light from LZF is a dramatic and decorative luminary appearing as a surreal, wooden creature. Clever, playful and artistic, Koi is the brainchild of designers Inocuo The Sign and LZF Lab. Inspired by an interlacing wood system and the translucent qualities this brings about when illuminated, the overlaying of wooden slats, similar to fish scales, is dubbed the Koi Fabric. Made by hand, employing traditional Valencian carpentry skills, Koi is crafted from sustainably-sourced, FSC-Certified wood materials for an eco-friendly design.
