Reversible control
Though many people have used ceiling fans for years, not every knows you should reverse the direction the fan is moving depending on the season. During the warmer summer months, you want the fan to spin counterclockwise to push air down and create a cool breeze. For the cooler winter months, set your fan to spin clockwise, pulling up the air upward and better distributing the heat.
