Description
Designed by a Mario Alessiani, a rising star in Italian design, FLOAT takes its name by the floating devices used by kids at the beach. According to Mario Alessiani "With FLOAT, we focused on style and rationality to achieve the difficult goal of building a functional emotion. We have designed a lamp that, like a floatie, keeps the little kids safe but also gives them happy emotions".
FLOAT is a product family of portable lamps, which can be used indoor and outdoor as pendant, table lamp, floor lamp or even placed on top of a bottle.
FLOAT has a battery life of 9 hours and can be easily charged with a USB charger. The battery is replaceable after an estimated life of 2 years and the design of the lamp cleverly allows to save space when re-charging multiple units.
