Inspired by the sofas and armchairs that were made popular in English clubs and country houses, the Chester Armchair from Poltrona Frau is a finely tailored and supremely comfortable seating solution for any contemporary living space. An icon of the Poltrona Frau brand, this armchair stands out for its pleated armrests and tufted accents carried out entirely by hand. Outfitted with a steel biconical spring system, positioned by hand and attached to jute belts on a supporting structure of seasoned beechwood, the seat is padded with rubberized horsehair while the backrest and armrests are in outfitted in vegetable horsehair. Wrapped in fine leather, the seat cushions are filled with plush goose down for a cozy and comfortable seat ready to elevate any living or lounge space with timeless, Edwardian style.
