Finding a true passion is not easy. Pursuing that passion is even harder. Michael Mandapati, in this sense, is quite successful. His passion for beautiful carpets and textiles grew from a summer job as a college student in New Delhi, India, and he's been pursuing it ever since – for more than 20 years, all over the world. His background includes living and breathing in antique and decorative carpets, learning to identify the best options for each distinct space, project, and individual client.

But Michael's endless avidity for placing beautiful carpets under his clients' feet didn't stop him there. In 2004, Michael launched the Warp & Weft Modern & Custom Collection. Inspired by the best of today's minimalist interiors, this new and innovative addition to Warp & Weft has brought admirers from around the world.
